Carli was very good in recommending cabins and organising them for us. Also, we appreciated her providing us an after hours number to contact her on."

Life aboard Carnival Breeze
Until September 2020 Carnival Breeze sails out of Port Canaveral, offering 7-night cruises. From October 2020 Carnival Breeze relocates to Fort Lauderdale, 260 km to the south. Breeze offers three itineraries. Carnival Breeze entered service in June 2012 as one of Carnival’s largest vessels at 128,251 GT, carrying 3690 passengers. She received the Award of Excellence for Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse by 2017 Wine Spectator Restaurant, and Cruise Critic Editors awarded Carnival Breeze its “Best New Ship 2012” award. Carnival is a Fun Ship line with lots of playful passengers across all age groups. Why sign up for a Fun Ship if you're seeking tranquillity? She has a wide variety of activity, dining, and entertainment options. The ship gives a feeling of spaciousness, with its “city at sea” atmosphere. Signature Dream Class elements, such as the half-mile exterior promenade with cantilevered whirlpools, and a 2200 sq m wellness facility, are included.

Accommodation
Cabin categories include interior staterooms (10 grades), ocean view (7 grades), balcony (13 grades), and suites (four grades). Each of these categories has a “Cloud 9 Spa” variation, with complimentary spa access. Eighty percent of the cabins are outside; 80 percent of those staterooms have private balconies. Each cabin has a gift amenity basket in its bathroom. All staterooms include flat-screen TVs, safe, mini-bar, beach towels, hair dryer, bathrobes to wear during your cruise, and Carnival Comfort Bed with plush mattresses, good quality duvets, linens and pillows. Standard cabins are a good size. Most with twin beds can be converted to a king-size bed. Good design and soft lighting add to a feeling of spaciousness in interior staterooms.

The Junior, Grand, and Ocean Suites have a large lounge and sleeping area, large bathroom with twin wash basins, and whirlpool bathtub. The best suites and cabins are those on the aft-facing decks. Suites qualify for priority check-in at port. Cove Balconies are a new category of stateroom, located on the lower Main Deck, which are close to the waterline and offer smaller terraces with excellent ocean views as an alternative to larger balcony staterooms. Some cabins can accommodate a third and fourth person, and most cabin categories are fitted with inter-connecting doors to suit families. There are no single cabins, and 35 wheelchair-accessible cabins. A room service menu is available 24-hours, for a small charge.

Food and Dining
There are two principal dining rooms – Blush and Sapphire – with a choice of fixed-time dining at two seatings, or flexible “Your Time Dining”. Dining assignments can be booked before the cruise. Menus change daily and service is excellent. Breakfast and lunch are open seating. Late morning Brunch is served along with a comedy presentation. Kids have their own menu. Lido Marketplace is the expansive two-level poolside eatery, offering casual alternatives for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also on the pool deck are snacks all day, including a pizza station, deli, and fast food. Come evening, there are five dining options (some pay extra).

There are two alternative restaurants (by reservation, with cover charge): Nouveau Restaurant for dinner, and Bonsai Sushi for lunch and dinner. Both offer superb fine-dining experiences not to be missed. The Chef’s Table, reserved for 12, is a special dining experience that includes a galley tour. On the promenade deck a premium coffee bar serves specialty coffees and sweets (there's a charge). There are numerous coffee, iced tea and lemonade stations as well as self-serve ice cream and frozen yoghurt machines. The ship offers 24-hour room service, ranging from basic continental-style breakfast fare to a variety of sandwiches and desserts.

Entertainment
There is something for everyone. Ovation Theatre, spanning three decks, presents large production shows and cabaret acts backed by a live show band. It has a revolving stage, hydraulic orchestra pit, and excellent sound. The second stage entertainment is at Limelight Lounge. Ocean Plaza also has a stage, dance floor, large bar and features cabaret entertainers. Seaside Theatre’s giant screen over the main pool shows sports events, music videos and films. The 5D Theatre squirts, tickles, blows and pokes you while seated! Night is the time for late buffet snacks, R-rated comedy and Liquid Nightclub. There’s Sam’s Piano Bar, and the nearby Ocean Plaza offers food, interactive games, and a dance floor. These are just a few of the two dozen bars and lounges splashed with kaleidoscopic colours.

Daytime activities include the customary art auctions, karaoke, "game show mania," ballroom dancing, comedians, and bingo. Adults have the large action-packed Casino and their adults-only Serenity Retreat. Take an aerobics class, work out in the gym, refresh with a beauty treatment and massage. Access to Cloud 9 Spa with its Thalasso therapy pool, treatment rooms and tea house is limited to Spa staterooms or by day paid pass. There’s a mini-golf course, jogging track, and deck games. On one side of the Seaside Theatre is SportsSquare, which has multiple outdoor activities for all ages; and on the other side is Carnival Waterworks with its many slides. Teens enjoy their own parties and movies at Club O2, junior teens at Circle “C”, and pre-teens at Camp Carnival. Keep linked to the outside world at the Internet Café.
