Cruises from St George's
St George’s is an island and town of the same name in the British Overseas Territory of the archipelago Bermuda in the North Atlantic Ocean. It was founded in 1612 and served as the capital of Bermuda until eclipsed by Hamilton in 1815. St George’s is the oldest continually inhabited English settlement in the New World, and the second largest town. The island is in the hurricane belt and prone to severe weather.
However, it is somewhat protected from the full force of a hurricane by the coral reef that surrounds the island.
