Cruises from Ringaskiddy
Ringaskiddy is one of four ports/towns that border Cork Harbour in County Cork, southern Ireland. Due east, across the Celtic Sea, is Wales. Maze-like Cork Harbour is indeed large, second in size to Australia’s Sydney Harbour. Ringaskiddy’s deep water port lies on the western side of the harbour, and on the northern side is the larger deep water port Cobh. Read more
Cork City port is 15km inland at the extremity of the harbour, on the River Lee. The environs are an important industrial, transport and pharmaceutical centre (Pfizer, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson; and most of the world’s Viagra comes from here). The port receives passenger ferries from Roscoff in France.
