Cruises from Nesebur
Nesebur is an ancient town and a major seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea. It is so beautifully preserved that it is regarded as one of the world’s rarest historic treasures, and subsequently named as a World Heritage Site. It is renowned for its array of Greek, Roman, and Byzantine remains and with more than three millennia of history, it has been proclaimed a city-museum. Interestingly there are forty churches, either wholly or partly, in the town and these represent the rich architectural heritage of the Eastern Orthodox world as well as being home to some early Christian basilicas and medieval cross-domed churches.
