Havre-Saint-Pierre (St Peters Harbour) is a town situated on Pointe-aux-Esquimaux, which is on the Quebec north shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Canada. First settled by Acadian families in the 1800s, the unique culture of Havre Saint-Pierre is immediately noticeable upon arrival. While whale watching is one of the most prominent activities here, the charm of this area is found primarily in the national parks found among the islands nearby.
