Cruises from Dartmouth
Dartmouth is a town in Devon in the SW of England, set on the banks of the estuary of the River Dart. Historically, as it was a deep-water port for sailing vessels, it was used as the meeting point for the crusades of 1147 and 1190. Today, it lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty and is a major tourist destination. There is also the opportunity to undertake some wonderful wildlife watching.
The delightful streetscapes of narrow lanes and stone stairways reflect both the Elizabethan and medieval eras.
