Balneário Camboriú is a city and beach resort on the Atlantic coast of Brazil, in the southern state of Santa Catarina. Portuguese is the official language. It has been nicknamed the Brazilian Dubai, as it keeps on building the tallest residential buildings in Brazil. The city has a population of 125,000 that swells to over one million in the summer.
