Twice I've used Clean Cruising, and have had excellent service both times, and with follow up information. I have and will further recommend you to others. Nothing was too much trouble.I'm hoping to do another cruise early next year, taking my grandson with me, so I'll be using Clean Cruising again. Thank you"

The Gulf of Carpentaria - aka the Gulf - is a large, shallow sea enclosed on three sides by northern Australia and separated from New Guinea to the north by the Arafura Sea. The land bordering the Gulf is generally flat and low-lying. To the west is Arnhem Land and the Top End of the Northern Territory. To the east is the Cape York Peninsula. The area to the south is known as the Gulf Country.

The Gulf is the home of the Morning Glory cloud, a rare meteorological phenomenon observed around dawn during the spring months. It is in the form of a roll cloud that can be up to 1000 kilometers long, 1 to 2 kilometers high, and can move at speeds up to 60 kilometers per hour. Despite being studied extensively, the Morning Glory cloud is not clearly understood. It moves without changing speed or shape. The 178 pop. settlement of Burketown annually attracts glider pilots bent on surfing this phenomenon. Reportedly, all winds cease at ground level as the cloud passes over.
