After graduating high school, Courtney studies a Diploma of Hospitality Management at TAFE Queensland. This gave her the opportunity to work at the W Brisbane for 2 years. While she was working at the W, she began to fall in love with travel and tourism after hearing the variety of stories from guests visiting from all over the world. This is when she began studying for a Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management at TAFE Queensland.
What is your favourite cruise destination you visited & why?
Courtney has only travelled to the South Pacific so far, so her favourite destination there is Mystery Island. This is because of how beautiful the island is, how friendly all the locals are, and the variety of activities that they have (despite how small the island is!). She would however love to do a river cruise through Europe in the future!
What is your favourite cruise ship & why?
Courtney's current favourite cruise ship that she has been on is Quantum of the Seas. However, she would love to experience Icon of the Seas for a number of reasons – Chief Dog Officer Rover being the main one!
Favourite cruise tip you give your clients
Be comfortable with the uncomfortable; push yourself out of your comfort zone – you won’t see the majority of these people ever again.
