Legend of the Seas
Legend of the Seas is based in Asia, sailing out of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Yokohama, and Beijing. Cruises range from 3 to 14 nights. From late November 2010 she is based in Singapore, and runs 3-, 4- and 5-night cruises to the West coast of Malaysia and as far as Thailand. All cabins come equipped with TV, telephone, private bath/shower room, safe and hairdryer. Higher-grade cabins and suites also have minibars, and bathtubs as well as showers. Cabins range from three and four-berth family cabins to twin insides, seaview (picture windowed) outsides, balconied staterooms and suites. Top of the range is the Royal Suite, a grand affair with whirlpool bathtub and a baby grand piano.

Entering service in 1995 at 69,130 GT, Legend can carry 1804 passengers. The Vision-class vessels are known as the "ships of light" as a result of spectacular sea views afforded by glass canopies and massive floor-to-ceiling windows. Dining options are: the two-tier Romeo & Juliet with its grand staircase, large windows, marbeled entrance and spectacular central chandelier; the Windjammer buffet, with panoramic views on three sides; and the Solarium café, serving hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza-style hot meals and cookies. There is also free, on-tap ice cream, tea and coffee; specialty coffees and cakes at Latte-tudes cafe and ice cream bar; and – at a price – Ben & Jerry's ice cream. This is a stylish ship, with acres of glass walls. Relax in the many bars and lounges, casino, or just sit back in the Centrum watching guests pass by. In the evenings “That’s Entertainment” Theatre presents production shows, and there’s music and dancing in the signature Viking Crown lounge (atop the ship) and the Schooner Bar. Keep fit with amenities that include the rock-climbing wall and a 6,000 ft., 18-hole mini golf course. As with all Royal Caribbean ships, children are superbly catered for.
