Kelly started off in the travel industry 18 years ago as a frontline retail travel agent working my her through to management then into corporate travel and moving into cruising 6 years ago where she found where her passion truly was. Kelly has also lived in five countries throughout her life including India, Japan, South Korea and Austria. Travel has always been Kelly’s number one passion in life which started from a very young age because her parents worked overseas for most of her school life. She now shares her passion with her valued clients and assist them in anyway she can to explore this beautiful World of ours and make their travel inspiration ideas come to life!
What is your favourite cruise destination you visited & why?
Japan is her favourite destination to date. It has it all, culture, food, people, snowcapped mountains, beautiful temples and gardens. Sailing Japan will take you to such a diverse range of ports all in one go. From famous cities like Tokyo with sky scrapers and bustling city life to small fishing harbors with locals live a much slower paced life then to remote islands otherwise missed by land travel. The scenery is so diverse in Japan it really is unlike any other destination on our planet.
What is your favourite cruise ship & why?
Kelly has two, Hurtigruten for expedition and Ponant for luxury and service and they both are the leaders in the industry for being the most eco-conscious cruise liners out there. You can enjoy the beauty of the World while reducing your impact on the environment sailing these ships.
Favourite cruise tip you give your clients
To pre book as much as you can before you get onboard. Day spa, shows, speciality dinning because you can always change your plans once on the ship but avoids the disappointment in missing out on anything if booked out once on board!
