Star Princess 
Star Princess sails 10-night cruises of the Baltic Sea ex Copenhagen. In September she relocates to Civitavecchia (Rome) for 12-night cruises of the Mediterranean. In late November the vessel crosses the Atlantic to South America, for 14-night cruises around Cape Horne. Princess Cruises offer three wedding packages (and live Web cam!) and Vow Renewals. Choose from a large range of cabins and suites, including 711 balcony staterooms and an entire deck of mini-suites. All cabins are equipped with mini-fridges that you can fill with your own juices and snacks. Grand Princess has one exclusive hideout, at the aft, with a gigantic veranda and elegant, exclusive furnishings. This 1,329-square-ft., one-bedroom suite combines modern technology with old-world luxury: lush brocades, sumptuous bedding, a corner whirlpool tub and separate multi-jet shower, dining table inside for six and outside for four, a wet bar, two televisions and a personal computer for those who just can't leave business behind for a week. There are 27 staterooms for guests with disabilities.
MS Grand Princess is one of four Grand Class cruise ships. Launched in 2002 and with many new features added in 2008, at 109,000 GT the vessel carries 2600 passengers. Star Princess flat out aims for America's mid-market passenger. Though large, passengers never feel overcrowded. A new feature is the new three-deck-high street-cafe-style Piazza, for sipping coffee and watching the occasional passing performer. “Personal Choice” dining options cover the complete range – steaks, seafood, English pub lunch – for every taste. In terms of quantity, quality and convenience, it would be impossible to go hungry on this ship. As for entertainment, there is more than can be squeezed into a week. The Princess Theater is the ship's main venue for production shows and comedy acts. The Calypso Pool area showcases concerts and Movies Under the Stars. Five pools spread the crowd. Shore excursion information and options are efficient and comprehensive. Children and families are very well catered for.
