Adonia 
Adonia begins service in May 2011 out of Southampton, offering cruises from seven to 26 nights in duration to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Itineraries will feature overnight calls in Athens and St. Petersburg, as well as a round Britain cruise. In October 2011 will reposition to the Mediterranean, and offer fly-cruising for six cruises out of Savona, Athens, Trieste and Naples, including a Christmas and New Year cruise to the Holy Land. Itineraries will include many ports new to P&O in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. More than 75% of Adonia’s 355 cabins have balconies. Adonia's well appointed cabins will feature Egyptian cotton linen, and tea/coffee making facilities so popular with British passengers.
P&O’s latest and smallest ship Adonia, at 30,277 GT and carrying 710 passengers, is adults-only. The drawcard for this vessel will be its “Britishness.” The ship will have a traditional feel featuring wood panelling, leather armchairs and fine artwork. The library will feature more than 4,000 titles. The Curzon Lounge, with wooden dance floor and stage, will host after dinner speakers and shows by P&O Cruises Headliners Theatre Company. Signature features will be the forward Crow’s Nest observation lounge, and Anderson’s, a centrally located traditional club-style lounge bar. Passengers will be able to get to know their fellow travellers at night, and visit ‘off the beaten track’ destinations by day. Adonia’s main restaurant will be the Pacific dining room. The two specialty dining venues are the Italian 'Sorrento' and the Ocean Grill steakhouse. There will also be a buffet restaurant, al fresco dining with barbecue area on the Lido deck, eight bars, and Raffles’ coffee shop serving pastries, chocolates, hot drinks and afternoon tea. The Oasis Spa will offer a range of treatments and therapies including Aromasoul massages and body scrubs, Aromatherapy, and reflexology; and for the athletic, a well equipped gym with panoramic sea views.
