Ships based in Australia: Pacific Aria | Pacific Dawn | Pacific Explorer | Pacific Eden | Pacific Jewel | Pacific Pearl
Ships visiting S-E Asia: Pacific Jewel

P&O Cruises Australia has operated since 1932 and is one of eleven cruise lines under the Carnival Corporation umbrella. From June 2017 P&O Cruises Australia will operate five ships out of Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Auckland and Singapore. The line especially appeals to Australian tastes in food and humour, NRL and Origin fans, the partying set, and families. (P&O International is a UK-based sister line with a pronounced British heritage.) P&O Australia is to the forefront of enhancing its facilities, entertainment and food, raising its Berlitz ratings and popularity though its fleet is aging. The line is always seeking new ports and on-shore excursions, including the waters of PNG and SE Asia. It offers extensive family programs and child-care facilities, while adults have their private areas. Readers Digest voted P&O Cruises as one of Australia’s most trusted brands for the second year in succession.

P&O itineraries begin with 2 to 4-night getaways, including themed cruises centred on food and wine, comedy, Australia Day, Christmas, and sporting events. Convenient one-week-away-from-home holidays depart on a weekend. Longer 10 to 18-night explorer and adventure cruises are supported by an extensive Shore Tour program. Embark from your choice of eight cities. AusAsia ports of call number 28 in Australia, 27 in Pacific and PNG waters, 10 in New Zealand, and 25 SE Asian ports in seven countries. P&O Cruises attracts active and often boisterous Aussie crowds. Sixty onboard activities run day and night: something’s happening all the time. Food choices include formal dining restaurants, Lido buffets, and specialty dining for a modest cover charge. Dining reservations are optional. The Line has a high percentage of repeat travellers. Payment of gratuities is included in the fare.
