My consultant Danielle McSweeny was fantastic. I had many questions throughout the booking process and she was always available and quick to respond. I ran into other people on the cruise who had booked through clean cruising and they had similar feedback so your company should be proud! :)"

Kampot is a quiet riverside town in Cambodia just a few kilometers from the Gulf of Thailand. It makes a good base-camp for exploring Bokor National Park and the Bokor Hill Station. For those who wish to see something other than the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh and the breathtaking Angkor Wat, Bokor is an excellent third option, despite the difficult 32 km journey to see these two locations in Cambodia. The former French resort is now in ruins but is an important cultural site, showing how the colonial settlers spent their free time.

The beach town of Kep is only about an hour away to the south-east. Rabbit Island is a small tropical island located about 20-40 minutes south of Kep by local boat. Secluded white sand beaches dot the edges of the island, backed by a hilly coconut palm interior. Most services are near the west side beach. The surrounding waters are relatively clear and warm, offering some snorkelling opportunities around the rocks. Coral is scarce but colourful fish abound. Tour operators offer inclusive day packages. Boats are almost always available.

The limestone caves near Kampot house exotic rock formations and Buddhist shrines. When you plan to visit these caves make sure that you are carrying a torch and have put on proper trekking shoes. You will find various brick structures of 5th century AD, amongst the stalagmites and stalactites that are formed within the cave. You would also find 4th century structures. While you enter the caves you find limestone formations in the shapes of elephants. The entrance of the second cave lies about 300 meters from the first cave and to reach there you have to climb various piles of rocks and go through small openings.
