Emerald Princess:
Launched in 2007, Emerald Princess is one of the largest cruise ships in the Princess fleet. With nearly 900 balcony staterooms aboard she is the perfect ship from which to take in the colourful sunrise over the ocean as you sail to New Zealand or to capture the breathtaking sunset as you sail around the Pacific Islands.

Onboard facilities and entertainment are state of the art and attracts families and multigenerational groups. The Emerald Princess is truly a destination in itself.

You can spend your at sea days lazing by one of the four pools, adults will enjoy the child free area ‘The Sanctuary’ with padded sun lounges and a private pool. Kids and families will enjoy watching ‘Movies Under the Stars’ and joining in the multitude of daily activities on offer.

Where does she Sail?
In late September 2016 Emerald Princess will depart Southhampton via the Suez Canal bound for Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney. There are some fantastic itineraries on offer during her stay in Australia and there is sure to be a cruise that will suit you.

Cruise around the south of Australia and discover some of our homelands most treasured sites on a 7 night cruise from Fremantle to Melbourne or if you’re new to cruising why not have a taste of the cruising life on a 2 night cruise from Melbourne to Sydney.

Be awestruck by the amazing scenery of New Zealand on a 13 night cruise or meet some of the friendliest people on earth while sailing through the South Pacific. Emerald Princess also sails to America, Canada and South America. Whatever your dream destination, there is a Princess cruise that can take you there.

Life Onboard:
As a large resort style ship Emerald Princess can be your home away from home as you sail to some of the most exotic locations around the world. She has two decks of public spaces and plenty of lifts and staircases that make for ease of movement.

There is always something to do aboard so you can do as much or as little as you like. Join the fun on the very popular ‘Ultimate Ship Tour’ which takes you behind the scenes of the main areas of the ship such as the kitchens, engine room and bridge.

You will love the large selection of eateries and restaurants aboard from casual dining in the Piazza to the delectable dining experience at Share by Curtis Stone.

At night there are a number or entertainment options including Magic to Do, a spectacular musical revue showcasing history's most memorable on-stage illusions! Move to the rhythm of the disco beat, take a spin on one of the dance floors, or belt out a song in our karaoke event.

When at port you will have an abundance of choices for shore tours and excursions. You can play tourist and see the sights and discover the cities where you dock, get your body moving with an action or adventure tour, immerse yourself in the local culture or get your taste buds tingling with culinary experiences.

Emerald Princess is a fantastic cruise ship and is full of charm with Princess’s signature style. Be sure to experience her while she sails Australia during her summer cruise season down under.

Unique Asian Ports:
Discover truly unique and unforgettable destinations when cruising through Asia. You will fall in love with temples, visit exquisite gardens and relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

These are just some of the spectacular destinations on offer when cruising Asia:

Sihanoukville – Cambodia
Developed in 1964 as Cambodia’s sole deepwater port Sihanoukville is a secret delight guarded by the savviest of travellers.

Located on the Gulf of Thailand in South West Cambodia, Sihanoukville is known for its tropical islands, palm fringed beaches and the mangrove jungles of Ream National Park. Offshore Islands offer excellent dive sites and the area is renowned for its superb seafood cuisine.

Semarang – Indonesia
From the port of Semarang on Java, cross the Kedu Plain and discover one of the great manmade wonders of the world, the Temple of Borobudur. The largest Buddhist temple in the world, Borobodur is full of wonder and history.

It remained covered in volcanic ash for nearly a millennium until it was rediscovered in 1814. A UNESCO world heritage site it underwent 10 years of restoration and is one of the most awe-inspiring sites in the world.

Tokushima, Japan
Born as a 16th century castle town whose remains now lay scattered near a park and museum, Tokushima is best known for its colorful summer dance festival, the Awa Odori.

Surrounded by large mountains that hint at the wonders that lie beyond, Tokushima is the perfect gateway to the Naruto whirlpools, picturesque gorges of the Iya valley and spectacular views from atop Mt. Bizan.

Komodo Island, Indonesia
Located in the Lesser Sundra Islands of Indonesia, Komodo Island is a truly unforgettable experience. The discovery of Komodo Dragons 100years ago by the Dutch invoked stories of fire breathing dragons 10 feet in length and weighing 300 pounds. These mystical and captivating creatures are the highlight if this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Island is also known for its diverse marine habitat and species including manta rays, turtles, whales and dolphins. Be sure to book your shore excursion as access to the Island is only permitted when part of an organised tour.

Da Nang/ Hue (Chan May) Vietnam
The port of Chan May is located halfway between two historic and important cities: Da Nang and Hue. The area played a part in the Vietnam War and was the American’s major strategic base. Today Hue is a World Heritage Site with many interesting things to do and see.

You will not forget the imposing Imperial Citadel or the serene harmony of the Thien Mu Pagoda. It is a delight to visit and beach lovers will enjoy soaking up the rays on one of the white sandy beaches that line the coast.
