Repositioning Cruises

Repositioning cruises are just that - when a cruiseline moves a ship from one location to another at the completion of a season. There are some great advantages in taking one of these cruises. These include:
Cheaper Fares - you will generally find these itineraries offer better deals as they aren't for everyone.
Longer Itineraries - As these cruises are often from the Northern Hemisphere, they can range from 2-4 weeks' duration.
Unique Itineraries - Because these ships are moving from one destination to another, passengers often get to experience ports that are seldom visited from the local regions.
More time at sea - While moving between distant ports, passengers get to fully experience everything the ship has to offer. This makes it even more important to pick the right ship for your repositioning cruise.

Featured below are our Repositioning cruises in detail.

Asia to Fremantle on Voyager of the Seas
Be spoiled on the Voyager of the Seas enjoying 14 unforgettable nights on the Asia Reposition Cruise exploring Asia. Your ship sails from Singapore and visits 5 ports in 4 countries before finishing at Fremantle. On arrival, Voyager of the Seas will then sail over and be based in Sydney, Australia. She will be the largest cruise ship ever to call Australia home.

The ship has a variety of dining options, including a spectacular three-level main dining room with three separate and distinct themed dining areas. A Traditional Dining option allows preselection of your ideal dining time at the main or second seating, for the duration of the cruise. Alternatively, reserve seating in the main dining room with the My Time Dining program (and pre-paid gratuities).

The stunning 1,350-seat Showlounge, spanning the height of five decks. Productions are Broadway-style. Studio B presents ice shows and ice-skating, comedy, game shows, onboard parties, and cooking demonstrations. (When the rink is not being used, skate for free!) Live music features around the pool, in the main dining room, and in many lounges, bars and specialty venues. Gaming is in Club Royale. There are additional programs to suit every taste.

Transpacific on Radiance of the Seas
This September we see Radiance of the Seas make her way back to Australia for another season. This 18 night cruise from Honolulu to Sydney takes in 7 ports in 4 countries.

The main dining room is an elegant, two-level restaurant featuring a grand staircase. Traditional Dining allows preselection of your fixed dining time (main or second seating) for the duration of the cruise. Alternatively, My Time Dining reserve seating (and pre-paid gratuities) on a day-by-day basis. For dining there are three distinct types of dress onboard: casual, smart casual and formal.

The three-decks-high Theatre presents Broadway-calibre productions. Find live music throughout the ship - Latin, Calypso, live jazz, orchestra and dance bands. Learn to dance (and be introduced to many other activities) by experts in the Explorer Academy program. Nightly onboard parties, games, contests, karaoke, bingo and gaming are all there.

Sydney to Singapore on Celebrity Millenium
Following her revitalisation in May 2012, Celebrity Millennium sails down to Australia before starting her Summer season in Asia. This allows guests to enjoy 17 exciting nights on the Southeast Asia Cruise exploring the Australian Coast and Asia. Your ship embarks from Sydney and calls into 8 ports in 3 countries before arriving at Singapore.

The two-deck 900-seat Metropolitan Dining Room, with its grand staircase and musicians' gallery overlooking the sea through a huge glass wall, offers excellent meals and service at two dinner seatings. The decor adds to the fine dining experience. The alternative dining venue, the Olympic Restaurant (reservations-only, extra cost), serves classic French cuisine in absolute style - allow three hours.

The 900-seat Celebrity Theatre is the three-deck venue for production shows, major cabaret acts and big-screen movies. During the voyage relax in solitude, or select your level of conversation and excitement. Daytime activities include a broad range of classes and competitions. For evening entertainment there are soloists at the cafes and bars, participation in karaoke, and of course the casino.

The Celebrity Life enrichment program is divided into three themes. "Savor" focuses on wine appreciation, mixology (of drinks), and cooking. The "Discover" program draws on the educational expertise of famous institutions. Passengers learn about the history, culture, art and architecture of destinations; and broaden their exposure to language study, photography, modern digital technologies and dance, to name a few.

San Francisco to Sydney on Sea Princess
Get away on the Sea Princess enjoying 27 relaxing nights on this Hawaii Tahiti South Pacific cruise to Sydney. The voyage starts out from San Francisco and calls into 11 ports in 5 countries before returning to Sydney.

This mid-sized vessel gives the feel of uncrowded luxury, with access to a wide range of large and small public rooms. The interiors are attractive and warm, and the glassed-in upper decks provide plenty of light and connections with the outside world. Sea Princess attracts a high number of seniors, especially in the off season and for longer cruises. Passengers enjoy mingling in a sophisticated setting, with good food and entertainment in an affordable package.

The Princess ships have been inducted into the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs gastronomic society. Each chef's menu is creative and the selections change every day. There are two main dining rooms, one with Traditional Dining (same time and fixed seating for each meal) and the other with Anytime Dining. Breakfast and lunch are provided in an open seating arrangement.

In the evening having two show lounges (both theatre and cabaret style) is a great way to give passengers more entertainment choices. During her 2009 refurbishment additions included a Movies Under the Stars screen in the main pool area and an adults-only private sunbathing area, the Sanctuary, at the front of the ship. Add bars, lounges, nightclubs, dance floors and casinos to the list of evening options.
