Take a cruise with a difference

It's been a very busy March at Clean Cruising, with 4 new team members including our Office Manager, Tracey Bremner, two new Senior Cruise Specialists, Sally Lindley and Hayley Gormley, and our new Trainee, Amy-Lee Pike. The ladies have all endured weeks of training and are now working in their specialty areas amongst the team, and we're delighted to have them join us.

With just one week to go of the Sail Season, we hope you've booked in your cruise holidays for this year. There is still some last minute availability to tempt you, but many cruises have seen their best prices and cabins taken up in the last 3 months. If you can drop everything though, keep checking our Specials Page which is updated daily with the best deals.

75 night Grand Pacific - Dawn Princess

This magnificent 75 night itinerary visits Russia and incorporates highlights of the South Pacific, Alaska, China and Japan. Calling at 28 enticing destinations in 13 different countires this cruise is filled with new discoveries and magical moments. Nine new Grand Pacific World Cruise ports include Vladivostock and Seward.

After departing Sydney, passengers get 6 days at sea heading up to Darwin, when you can settle into the vessel and get familiar with daily life onboard. Singapore is the next port of call, with a full day in port, allowing you the chance to enjoy the diversity of cultures as well as superb shopping and food.

In Bangkok, immerse yourself in the colours, aromas and sights that make up this energetic part of the world, discover bustling Ho Chi Minh City, spend languid days on Thailand's famous beaches and then explore the vast markets and shopping districts of Hong Kong and Shanghai.

The Russian city Vladivostock is perfect to explore on foot; dormant volcanic hills create an intriguing backtdrop to the city which features architecture from a range of eras.

From Russia to Yokohama, Japan, spend a full day in Tokyo, just 30 mins by train north, and choose between the modern and traditional experiences on offer. Following this, a week at sea to enjoy everything Dawn Princess has to offer onboard before reaching Anchorage.

Delve into Alaskan culture at the iconic town of Juneau, look for the abundant wildlife of Sitka and witness incredible glaciers at Glacier Bay, before heading further south to Vancouver, where the ship is in port all afternoon and evening.

The following morning awake in Victoria with the famous Butchart Gardens, with a day at sea before visiting San Francisco with its amazing bridge and historic cable cars.

From San Francisco, enjoy another 4 days at sea before arriving in Hawaii, where you can sail the azure waters for 4 days. Another 5 days at sea sees you arrive in Tahiti, before exploring Kiwi culture in Auckland and Bay of Islands enroute to Australia, arriving home on 10 October.

Dawn Princess was refurbished in 2009 with additions that included a Movies Under the Stars screen in the main pool area and an adults-only private sunbathing area, the Sanctuary, at the front of the ship. The two show lounges give more entertainment choices, featuring Australian entertainers, TV, movies and sports games. Dawn Princess does not offer flexible dining in the main dining room, rather early and late sittings. Guests can access a wide range of onboard activities from ceramics to dance classes, competitions to workshops.

Dawn Princess has a broad selection of cabins: insides, outside, balconies, mini-suites and suites. Of her 975 staterooms, 603 have exterior views and 410 have balconies. All staterooms have complimentary 24-hour room service, excellent appointments, and pleasing décor. All cabins have reasonable storage space with most of the things needed. Standard cabins are well-designed and functional. Two lower beds make up into a queen-size bed. Bedding is top quality.

The Princess ships have been inducted into the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs gastronomic society. Each chef's menu is creative and the selections change every day. There are two main dining rooms (no Anytime Dining), and dinner is served in two set seatings in each dining room with assigned tables and tablemates. Breakfast and lunch are provided in an open seating arrangement.

The alternative eating venue is Stirling Steakhouse (extra charge, reservations) for really good steak and barbecued chicken. Passengers booked in cabins with balconies can order several special, romantic meals to be served restaurant-style on the verandah - Ultimate Balcony Dining. Casual dining is available at Horizon Court buffet (24-hours), La Scala Pizzeria, the Balcony Grill (for hamburgers, hot dogs, kebabs and pies), and the Patisserie. Take-away food is available at the pool side.

Call us to book one of these or many other Dawn Princess journeys on 1800 121 187.
