All aboard the Arcadia over 12 relaxing nights aboard the Arcadia 12 night cruise from Southampton return J013 exploring Europe - Baltic & North Atlantic. This cruise departs from Southampton and visits 5 ports in 2 countries before returning to Southampton. This 3.5 star voyage from P&O Cruises UK has 1 more forward departures. We have a limited number of cabins available from $177 per person/day, twin share. So call now and get expert, friendly advice.

Arcadia Overview

Arcadia sails from Southampton in all directions – to UK waters, the Mediterranean (as far as the Black Sea and Israel), the Baltic Sea (with an overnight stop at St Petersburg), sub-Arctic Norway, Iceland, New England (USA), and trans-Atlantic to the Caribbean. Check which major cities include one or two nights in port, allowing you more time for onshore sightseeing. During the second half of each year Arcadia sails from Southampton to Iceland, the Baltic, Norwegian fjords, the Western Mediterranean and the Caribbean. In September take a round trip cross the Atlantic to the colourful New England and Maritime Provinces. The 2018 and 2019 ‘Western Circumnavigation’ of 99 nights through Panama and Suez visits NZ and Australia. Choose from the many sectors. Excellent on-shore lecture information is provided, and one can easily go-it-alone in port. Remember, this is a child-free ship.

Accommodation

There are nine types of stateroom and 16 price grades. Seventy percent of the cabins have a balcony. Staterooms have twin beds (or king-sized bed), adjustable AC, safe, vanity writing desk with mirror, good storage areas, wide-screen TV (with major news channels, sports and movies), telephone, mini-fridge, tea/coffee-making facilities, daily steward service, and hair dryer. Inside staterooms have a picture mirror. Outsides have a picture window or porthole. Cabins with private balconies have sliding doors that open to a patio set with two recliner chairs and a small table. Some balcony cabins have a bath with shower. The Deluxe Balcony Staterooms are considerably larger with full-height glass doors. Allow for service and additional charges for, say, room-service dining, depending on the five types of accommodation.

Food and Dining

The two-tier Meridian Restaurant offers principally a range of traditional British and other cuisines. Freedom Dining means five-course dinners here at your choice of table and time. Expect a silver-service menu, and something extra special on formal black-tie evenings. Alternative restaurants, at extra charge for non-suite guests, are East Restaurant (for Asian fusion specialties) on Sky Deck, and The Ocean Grill by Marco Pierre White. The 24-hour food court, The Belvedere Restaurant, has a number of stations – for fresh omelettes, Oriental dishes, Italian pastas and pizzas.

Entertainment

The Palladium is the three-tiered entertainment palace with all the electronic gadgetry to support major production shows, acrobats, dancers, and classical concerts. The in-house Headliners Production Company features outstanding song-and-dance presentations superbly produced for each P&O ship at its Southampton studios. There are multiple bars that host early evening karaoke, private parties, jazz and boogie, films, cabaret and shows. The Globe features art auctions by day, cinema, and by night live music with dance floor. The Screening Room is a boutique 30-seat dedicated cinema. By day there’s retail therapy in the emporium.
