View Ships View Most Popular Cruises View Cruises

Fathom Cruiseline 2019-2021 Fathom is the newest (and tenth) cruise line brand in the Carnival Corporation fleet of over 100 ships. Fathom commences sailings in April 2016 with initially just the one ship, Adonia, redeployed and refurbish from their P&O UK fleet. It offers unique “social impact travel” or "volunteer" cruises over seven days from the home port of Miami Florida, to the Caribbean’s most desired destinations, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. During 4-day port visits passengers can participate in volunteer activities with established organizations working alongside their people to create an enduring social impact.

Adonia is a relatively small 684 passenger R-Class ship and ideally suited for this concept. Carnival has several ships (Ocean Princess & Pacific Princess) of the same size and class that can be added to the brand over time as well as the larger Holland America's 828 passenger Prinsendam.
