    4 Monday, December 13, 2021 Cozumel, Mexico 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
    View of Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is a Caribbean island just off the Yucatan Peninsula in SE Mexico. It has grown steadily over the years since Jacques Cousteau first put the island on the map as a sea turtle sanctuary. While it has great beaches, friendly people and safe streets, with prices comparable to other Mexican tourist destinations, most visitors travel to Cozumel to see what is under the water. However, there are Mayan archaeological ruins of interest at Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza, the first two maybe within a day’s guided tour. Read more about Cozumel, Mexico

    5 Tuesday, December 14, 2021 Belize City, Belize 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
    View of Belize City, Belize

Belize City, the largest city in the Central American nation of Belize, is located at the mouth of the Belize River on the coast of the Caribbean Sea. For those who spend some time at this small but somehow sprawling metropolis - rather than leave immediately to visit the northern cays - the city will reveal a distinguished history, and several superb sights. These include the Cayo District's caves and the Maya archaeological sites along the Macal and Belize rivers. Through interaction with the city’s inhabitants, visitors appreciate that the city’s astonishing energy and contrasting easy-going Caribbean atmosphere is principally due to the wonderful variety of ethnic groups. 8 Friday, December 17, 2021 Puerto Limon, Costa Rica 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Puerto Limon - aka Limon - is the capital of Limón Province in Costa Rica. It is the country's main Caribbean port, and most of its citizens are of African descent. Originally from Jamaica, these workers were brought to the area in the late 19th century to build the railroad line from San José to Limón. It has some fascinating architecture and colourful open air market places. Read more about Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

    9 Saturday, December 18, 2021 Cristobal, Panama 9:00 AM 11:59 PM
    View of Cristobal, Panama

Cristóbal lies at the northern entrance to the Panama Canal. It is part of the province of Colón, a port city at the entrance to Limon Bay, at the Atlantic (Caribbean) entrance of the canal. (Interestingly, Cristóbal Colón is the Spanish translation for Christopher Columbus.) The port, Old Cristóbal, was first built by the Panama Railroad Company in the 1850s, and dredged material became landfill for the present Cristóbal. From 1904 the town was the port of entry for construction equipment and materials, most canal workers, and supplies and provisions. Read more about Cristobal, Panama

    12 Tuesday, December 21, 2021 Montego Bay, Jamaica 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
    View of Montego Bay, Jamaica

Montego Bay is Jamaica’s second city, and is known for its duty-free shopping. Its cruise line terminal at Free Port is situated on a beautiful peninsula jutting into a bay surrounded by picturesque low mountains. City streets are crowded, colourful and lively. Sam Sharpe Square, a pleasant cobble-stoned hub of activity, is roughly the centre of the town where stands the Cage, formerly a jail for runaway slaves, and the ruins of the Courthouse, built in 1804 and destroyed by fire some 20 years ago.
