Valletta (aka Belt Valletta, Città Umilissima) - traditionally reserved for the historic walled citadel that serves as Malta's principal administrative district - is the capital city of Malta, located in the central-eastern portion of the island. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is essentially Baroque in style, with elements of Mannerist, Neo-Classical and Modern architecture. Don’t miss the the majestic St John’s Co-Cathedral, with its imposing bastions and a treasure of priceless paintings. The site is nothing short of an open-air museum, yes, living history. 3 Saturday, June 18, 2022 Cagliari, Italy 8:00 AM 11:00 PM

Cagliari is the capital of the island of Sardinia, a region in Italy. An ancient city, it has seen the rule of several civilisations and in the ‘old city’ that lies on the top of a hill with a wonderful view of the ocean, it’s amazing to see the walls still intact, together with its two 13th century limestone towers. Importantly, the city is also home to exceptional beaches, rocky cliffs and numerous underwater caves. Edging east of town brings you to Poetto Beach, the hub of summer life with its limpid blue waters and upbeat party scene. Read more about Cagliari, Italy

    5 Monday, June 20, 2022 Calvi, France 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
    View of Calvi, France

Seen from the water, Calvi, on the island of Corsica off the southern shores of France, is a beautiful spectacle with its three immense citadel bastions topped with ochre buildings that are sharply defined against a hazy backdrop of mountains. A hangout for European glitterati in the 1950s, the town these days is an interesting resort, in that its glamorous marina, souvenir shops and fussy boutiques contrast with the down-to-earth villages of its rural hinterland. Fascinatingly, Christopher Columbus supposedly came from Calvi, and there is a large statue at the foot of the citadel that commemorates this legend. Read more about Calvi, France

    6 Tuesday, June 21, 2022 Antibes, France 8:00 AM 11:00 PM
    View of Antibes, France

Antibes is a resort town of SE France, on the Mediterranean Sea in the Côte d'Azur, located between Cannes and Nice. The major attractions of Antibes are its history, climate, art, yachting, and its sandy beaches that are completely man-made, and – yes - there are 48 beaches along 25 km of coastline. Then there’s its yacht marina built on the site of a Roman harbour in the 1960s that is now the largest on the Côte d'Azur. The surrounding country produces quite an abundance of flowers, so perfume distillation is still carried out on a commercial scale in nearby Grasse. Read more about Antibes, France

    9 Friday, June 24, 2022 Santa Margherita, Italy 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
    View of Santa Margherita, Italy

Santa Margherita, an old-fashioned seaside resort of the Italian Riviera, is situated on the shores of Ligure Bay, about 35km SE of Genoa. Set on the Gulf of Tigullio between Rapallo and Portofino, the resort/fishing town of Santa Margherita Ligure really couldn’t be in a better neighborhood. Fashionable but much quieter than Portofino, life in Santa Margherita Ligure centres around the lovely palm-laden harbour, where boating and simple sunning are the orders of the day. The town has some good shopping options, lovely cafés and interesting sights like its 16th-century castle and the 17th-century Basilica di Santa Margherita. Read more about Santa Margherita, Italy

Portoferraio lies of the edge of the harbour of the Italian Island of Elba. The city's buildings are situated on a tiny hill surrounded on three sides by the sea, which presents an intriguing sight to visitors. Portoferraio remains a delightful seaside resort. For example, the Spiaggia di Sansone is a small beach where visitors are almost blinded by the white pebbles and the clear blue water - sparkling like a thousand stars - that lets you see to the bottom.
