Rosyth is a town located on north of the Firth of Forth on Scotland's east coast just 19km NW of Edinburgh. In the early 1900s Rosyth was the location of a large Royal Naval dockyard due primarily to the existence of a natural deep channel which made it ideal as a base for warships.
