1 Tuesday, November 15, 2022 Miami, USA Embark 6:00 PM
    View of Miami, USA

Miami, located on the Atlantic coast at the southern tip of Florida, where outdoor sports are open all seasons and dress is casual, is a melting pot of cultures. Miami and Miami Beach are in effect two distinctly different cities, as Miami Beach is almost exclusively tourist orientated, while Miami is a cosmopolitan city with a distinctly Latin American flavour. Don’t miss the South Beach section where fashion designer Gianni Versace lived and died that is one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in the world. Certainly the beaches have an international flair and attract tourists from around the world. Read more about Miami, USA

View of San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan, the capital and most populous city of Puerto Rico, is the oldest city on US territory. It is the Caribbean commercial hub, best known for its beautifully restored historic district of Old San Juan. It is situated on a rocky peninsula girded by thick walls jutting into the crashing Atlantic surf. With its 400 restored buildings from the 16th and 17th century Spanish colonial period, this area is steeped in history. Read more about San Juan, Puerto Rico

    5 Saturday, November 19, 2022 St Bart's, Guadeloupe 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
    View of St Bart's, Guadeloupe

Saint-Barthelemy (St Bart’s) is a French island located in the Caribbean among the Leeward Islands. St Bart’s has long been considered a playground of the rich and famous, and is known for its beautiful pristine world class beaches, gourmet dining in chic restaurants, and duty free high-end designer shopping. Two interesting fact are: firstly, that the population is nearly entirely of European ancestry, and secondly that the island - consisting principally cliffs and hills - has no rivers or springs. Another notable feature is that, as according to law no building can be taller than a palm tree, there is a complete absence of high rises and massive resorts. Read more about St Bart's, Guadeloupe

    6 Sunday, November 20, 2022 Martinique, Martinique 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
    View of Martinique, Martinique

Martinique is a Caribbean island that is an overseas department of France. It truly is a ‘little bit of France’, and visitors quickly become aware that very little English is spoken. On the other hand, it is intriguing in that it is one of the few islands where the lush countryside reflects the growth of sugar cane and bananas. The island also has contemporary appeal, as it offers elegant restaurants and chic boutiques in the Galleria shopping mall. Read more about Martinique, Martinique

7 Monday, November 21, 2022 Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
View of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago

Located on the western tip of the island of Trinidad, between the rainforests and mountains of the Northern Range and the Gulf of Paria, Port of Spain is the country’s cultural, commercial and governmental centre. It is a busy and vibrant city with the tall buildings, neon lights and crowded streets, as well as a multicultural Caribbean character and a home-grown calypso soundtrack. Maracas Bay is a beach that fulfils the fantasy of the ideal Caribbean beach, but is just as famous for the scenic rainforest drive that must be made to reach it. While there, many take a challenging walk to the spectacular Maracas Falls. Read more about Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago

Not far from here these waters encounter the muddy waters of the magnificent Amazon River. A natural phenomenon, the two rivers flow side by side and are known as the ‘meeting of the waters’. View of Boca da Valeria, Brazil

Located at the confluence of the Amazon and the Valeria rivers in Brazil, Boca da Valeria is a small remote Indian village consisting of a wharf, wooden homes on stilts, a school, a church and a bar that doubles as the village meeting place. It is hidden amid jungle lake lands where the screeches of colorful parrots fill the air and trees stand waist-high in water. Be sure to take your camera on the tender ride, because there is a very distinct line where the waters of the Valeria River meet the Amazon. Amazingly the rivers remain separate for a few kilometres before finally blending into muddy water. Read more about Boca da Valeria, Brazil

Tour boats take visitors to see the point where the black waters of the Rio Negro meet the Solimoes River's brown waters and then flow next to each other without mixing for nine kilometres.
