It is a small frontier town located on the Endeavour River (named after Captain Cook's ship) in far north tropical Queensland. A century later thousands, including many Chinese, came to Cooktown, the port for the Palmer River gold rush, leaving a fascinating history that can be explored at the James Cook Historical Museum. Norwegian Spirit Overview

    Norwegian Spirit

    4.2
    (from 20 verified customers)

Norwegian Spirit was launched in 1998 and received the most extensive bow-to-stern modernisation in Norwegian Cruise Line’s history in February 2020, making her look and feel like one of the newest ships navigating the high seas! The refurbishment saw every stateroom modernised, every bar and lounge redesigned, all dining overhauled and a new fine Italian restaurant “Onda” by Scarpetta added. Carrying just over 2000 passengers, the ship rarely feels crowded but rather gives a warm and relaxed atmosphere, best suited to adults, although children are certainly welcome onboard.
