View of New York (Manhattan), USA

New York’s port on the Hudson River in Manhattan is four blocks from Central Park. New York is situated on the Atlantic coast of NE United States. With its world-class museums, big statues, even bigger buildings - certainly the Manhattan skyline with its many skyscrapers is universally recognizable - and being the most linguistically diverse city in the world, the Big Apple’s hyperactive rush keeps drawing more and more people to it. The City of New York is a densely packed mass of humanity and all this living on top of one another makes the New Yorker a special kind of person. Read more about New York (Manhattan), USA

Subsequently, it is very well known for its variety of architectural styles and fascinating buildings, set against dense tropical forests and a huge dormant volcano. The domed colonial Treasury Building, or customs house, is a reminder of the value of these islands as sugar colonies. Queen Mary 2 Overview

    Queen Mary 2

    4.5
    (from 215 verified customers)

Queen Mary 2 is the flagship of the Cunard Fleet. One of the three ships making up the entirety of the Cunard fleet. Launched in 2004 and scheduled to be refurbished in November 2020. She is the world’s only true ocean liner, making her perfectly placed to make the iconic but notoriously rough Transatlantic Crossing. Affectionately known as the 'QM2’, she carries 2691 passengers making her Cunard’s largest ship. Despite being a larger vessel, you will rarely find yourself in a crowd, except perhaps at prime dinner time or a popular theatre show. Highlights of the ship include the largest ballroom at sea and 5-star entertainment nightly in the Royal Court Theatre. Queen Mary 2 is elegant and a true icon to sail on. She honours traditional such as the British tradition of afternoon tea, which includes white-gloved waiters who serve finger sandwiches and scones with cream in the Queens Rooms. Specially commissioned artwork is visible in public rooms, corridors, staterooms and lobbies. Queen Mary 2 is one of the few ships that has a class system, linking staterooms with dining venues.
