    View of Miami, USA

Miami, located on the Atlantic coast at the southern tip of Florida, where outdoor sports are open all seasons and dress is casual, is a melting pot of cultures. Miami and Miami Beach are in effect two distinctly different cities, as Miami Beach is almost exclusively tourist orientated, while Miami is a cosmopolitan city with a distinctly Latin American flavour. Don’t miss the South Beach section where fashion designer Gianni Versace lived and died that is one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in the world. Certainly the beaches have an international flair and attract tourists from around the world. Read more about Miami, USA

2 Tuesday, October 5, 2021 Half Moon Cay, Bahamas 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Half Moon Cay is a protected bay located on a private island about 1160 km south of Nassau, in the archipelago of the Bahamas. Visiting ships anchor in the cay and tender passengers to the pier. This exceptional cruise destination offers miles of crescent-shaped beaches dotted with coconut palms and surrounded by pristine blue waters. 4 Thursday, October 7, 2021 Amber Cove, Dominican Republic 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
View of Amber Cove, Dominican Republic

Amber Cove, located near Puerto Plata (aka Silver Port), on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, is a new $85 million port purposely developed for cruise passengers by Carnival Corp. It opened in mid 2015, and it will be the first time since the 1980s that a cruise ship has stopped at what is known as the Amber Coast, so called for its abundance of the translucent, burnt-orange stone. Cruise guests experience the natural beauty and wonder what makes the Dominican Republic such an attractive tourist destination. Dozens of shore excursions are available. Carnival Sunrise Overview

    Carnival Sunrise

In March 2019 Carnival Triumph underwent a US$200M refit and emerged with its new name – Carnival Sunrise, and an as-new appearance. Carnival Sunrise sails out of ports on the East USA seaboard: New York (Manhattan Island), Norfolk with its massive Naval base, and Fort Lauderdale in Florida. Cruises depart Fort Lauderdale for 4- and 5-night tours to Bermuda or to the Caribbean – to Nassau and the company port of Princess Cays in the Bahamas, and Cockburn Town on Turks and Caicos. For the months May to October 2020 Carnival Sunrise sails from Manhattan (just a few blocks from Times Square in New York) to King’s Wharf in Bermuda for 4-night holiday breaks. The new appearance of this ship will impress. As this is a “Fun Ship”, it’s hard to find a quiet place.
