Helloworld Travel’s 2017 Frontliners Forum – Hobart

On Saturday, Helloworld Travel’s 2017 Frontliner Forum wrapped up with the Gala Awards Dinner presented by Qantas.

Held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart, the awards recognised the Helloworld Travel top achievers across the branded and associate networks.

The Hotel Grand Chancellor ballroom was wonderfully decorated in Alice in Wonderland theme, with no expense spared. The glorious ballroom was adorned with giant-sized inflatable mushrooms, tea pots and flowers, and to top it off, we all received mad hatter hats to wear for the evening which proved to be highly entertaining and perfect for selfies!

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the awards, recognising outstanding achievement throughout the year. Two of our fabulous senior consultants received awards – Martine Hero took out the category for Associate Top Revenue Award and Russell “Rusty” Cameron took out the Team Spirit Award. We are all really proud of not only Martine and Rusty, but also the other finalists from our team at Clean Cruising, Bree and Sarah – its been a stella year!

Another highlight for the evening was seeing one of Australia’s Idols perform, Guy Sebastian, and he was sensational! He excited the crowd with some old hits of his, along with some of his new releases. We were all up singing and dancing in no time! No wonder why we all lost our voices and our feet were hurting the next day. A band then finished the night off playing old school hits and we all continued to dance the night away into the early hours of the morning.

Clean Cruising Team

It was a wonderful few days away with the team – everyone enjoyed themselves and have taken away some great knowledge from the insightful key note speakers and breakout sessions that were held over the course of the forum.

On the final day of the conference, Helloworld Travel announced that next year’s Frontliners Forum will be held in Fiji so there’s plenty to get excited for in the coming year!
