Seabourn Pride
Seabourn Pride offers cruises ranging from 10 to 24 nights to the seas off Hong Kong and mainland China, Korea and Japan. From late October cruises return to the southerly Hong Kong – Singapore region. Many ports visited by the Seabourn fleet are inaccessible to larger vessels, and hence many onshore tours are far from the tourist masses. All accommodation suites are de luxe, with a spacious marble bathroom and tub, shower and large vanity, complimentary stocked bar, walk-in closet, and separate living area and bedroom. Room service is available at all times and for all meals. The chef’s menu offers fresh regional specialties. The Seabourn line has won the prestigious International Five Star Diamond Award for the last 13 years, and was ranked Top Cruise Line Food in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2007 reader poll. Dine at The Restaurant (formal or semi-formal), avant-garde Restaurant 2, indoor/outdoor Veranda Café, or al fresco Sky Grill on the top deck.

MV Seabourn Pride, at 9,961 GT, was launched in 1988 and refurbished in 2005. The crew of 165 knows all 212 passenger-guests by name and anticipates their every wish. This is a small ship where travellers meet and talk, are invited by officers to dine, where everyone is a welcomed guest. The dining options and menus are certain to meet guests’ every expectation. Passengers very much create their own entertainment over a leisurely meal and a good wine, and since many have travelled widely there is no shortage of conversation. There are a few musical shows, dancing, evening cocktails, and good movies. One on-shore excursion is included, and others can be arranged. In-port water sport activities around the rear drop-down marina include windsurfers, sailboats, Zodiacs, water skis, banana boat, pedal boat and snorkelling equipment. Guests are international, upscale and well-travelled – this isn’t a ship for young children. Gratuities and beverages are included in the fare.
