Rhapsody of the Seas
Rhapsody of the Seas spends the northern Summer (May to mid-September) ex Seattle running 7-night tours to the fjords and glaciers along the Inside Passage of the Alaskan Panhandle. Cabins are comfortable and practical. Nearly 40% of the outside cabins have balconies. This is a family-friendly vessel: Family Oceanview Staterooms are large, can accommodate up to six guests, and typically include two twin beds which can convert into a queen-size bed; bunk beds in a separate enclosed area; sitting area with sofa bed; and mini bar. Royal Caribbean's room service options are available around the clock via 24-hour menus.

Commencing service in 1997, at 78,491 GT, Rhapsody of the Seas carries 2000 passengers. Guests enter this vessel through the Centrum, a soaring, seven-deck atrium, stunningly decorated with white marble floors and plants, dominated by the “Diadem”, a huge hanging six-story construction in which an orb of blue and green inlays is embraced by seven 20-metre swirling "reeds," seemingly like a planet carried by a ship. All ships of the Vision class feature about 8000 m2 of glass. Watch the vessel come into port from the signature Viking Crown Lounge sitting atop the ship. Food is served in the 1240-seat Edelweiss formal dining-room over two levels, or in the more casual Windjammer Café and Solarium Café. View production shows in the Broadway Melodies Show Lounge. Leisure facilities include a solarium with six whirlpools, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool with retractable glass canopy, and the Casino Royale. Other amenities include a jogging track, a video-game centre, shuffleboard, an extensive children’s program, a beauty shop, library, photo gallery, conference room and shopping gallery.
