Liberty of the Seas
MS Liberty of the Seas is based year-round in Miami, and offers 6- to 8-night cruises to the Eastern, Western and Mexican Caribbean. The range of cabins extends from Presidential (sleeps 14) to many family-friendly and twin-shares, but no singles. Order room service and on-shore excursions from the flat-screen TV. All cabins feature Royal Caribbean's stylish, comfortable new bedding. The Royal Promenade, three football fields in length, is lined with a range of shops, casual eateries, bars and even a men's barbershop. It's also the site of numerous special events. For a big ship find a quiet place in the library, or try Café Promenade, Vintages wine bar or even the Solarium pool.

Liberty of the Seas entered service in 2007 at 154,407 GT and carries 3634 passengers. My Time Dining offers two formal sittings, or flexible dining at two alternative restaurants, Portofino Italian restaurant and Chops Grille steakhouse-style. Then there’s Johnny Rockets 50’s-style diner, an Italian-style pizzeria, and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream parlour. Bars include Wipe Out bar, Squeeze juice bar; and the Bull and Bear English-style pub. The main Arcadia Theater seats more than 1300 guests over two levels and is the venue for night-time productions. “In the Air” is a first-ever aerial show. At night there are numerous musical diversions, bars and lounges. Casino Royale is open whenever the ship is at sea. The ship's fitness facility is among the best in cruising: Options include the Flowrider (wave simulator) surfing zone; the H2O Zone play area for families, with waterfalls and water cannons; heated freshwater pools, rock climbing, ice skating, golf simulator and boxing ring. The conference facilities are substantial and wi-fi coverage is ship-wide. This is a superb ship that gives families five-star status.
