Oriana
Oriana operates out of Southampton for the British market. Cruises range from 7- to 22-nights: to the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Baltic Sea, Norway and its fjords, Iceland, circumnavigate the UK, or visit Atlantic islands. In September 2010 Oriana begins a 12-week World Cruise heading west via the Panama and Suez Canals. In January 2011 ex Southampton she crosses the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Oriana has 914 cabins – 594 outside cabins, eight suites, 16 mini-suites and eight specially designed disabled cabins. All inside and outside cabins have bathrooms with shower, bathrobes, twin beds which (mostly) convert into doubles, TV/radio, fridge, safe, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee-making facilities.

Oriana debuted in 1995 and was given a minor refitting in 2006. At 69,153 GT she carries 1,828 passengers. Oriana was the first super liner built for British clientele, and is the fastest of the P & O fleet. Her refined interior blends traditional artworks with wooden panelling and modern innovations to give you the very best of both worlds. Past guests praise the standard of service, efficiency and friendliness of the crew. Movements on and off the vessel are handled expeditiously. Food service and quality gets a high rating. Oriana has a specialty restaurant by British celebrity chef Gary Rhodes. P&O organized tours give excellent introductions to ports-of-call. This vessel (and P&O Line) has been recommended as “Best for ex-UK Cruises”. Oriana is a family-oriented ship. The fleet flies the British flag, but ships are registered in Bermuda to allow for weddings at sea.
