Eurodam
In May cruises between Rome and Dover (UK), calling at six Baltic Sea countries as far as St.Petersburg. In June and July cruises extend further north, around 10- to 20-nights. In August Eurodam crosses the Arctic Circle to the North American coast around New York, New England and Quebec for 10-night cruises. From October 2010 to March 2011 Eurodam offers 7-night cruises out of Fort Lauderdale to various parts of the Caribbean. Eighty-six percent of the cabins are on the outside, and 67% have balconies. Ten cabins have floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows. Staterooms are spacious – Interior, Ocean-view, Lanai, Verandah, and Suites – having ample space and storage room, and consistently receive good reviews. In-room dining 24-hours is complimentary. Choose from seven superb dining venues: five-course menu in the Rembrandt Dining Room, seafood at the Pinnacle Grill (extra charge), ‘the best Asian-themed eatery among big-ship cruise lines’ at Tamarind, or the Italian-American-influenced Canaletto – and others.

Launching her maiden voyage in July 2009, this new Signature-class ship of 86,700 GT carries 2,104 passengers. The ship’s elegant art collection features Dutch masters and contemporary artists. Crewmembers (mostly from Indonesia and the Philippines) are superbly trained. Enrichment programs come in four categories: shore-excursion and destination-focused information; cooking demonstrations to food-related trivia; Digital Workshop for photography and making a vacation video; and fitness, recreation and brain stimulation games. Las Vegas-style revues are held at the two-deck-high Mainstage. There is a wide range of evening entertainment options for all tastes. Shore excursions range from coach tours to recreationally oriented activities like cycling or kayaking. Eurodam's main pool is among the most beautiful at sea. Private, fee-extra cabana areas are around and above the main pool. Relax in Explorations Café, a gathering place that mixes together a library and coffee bar where one can check email or read the morning paper. Children are catered for at Club HAL with supervised activities, and teens socialise at The Loft. This is a really fine vessel.
