Crystal Symphony 
Symphony continues her world cruise from Singapore heading for Athens via the Suez Canal. In June she heads for the North Atlantic and Baltic Sea, and in September crosses the Atlantic for the Eastern seaboard of North America. In November Symphony transits the Panama Canal for cruises to the Mexican Riviera out of Los Angeles. Cruises range from 7- to 19-nights. This vessel receives a Berlitz rating of five stars because of its fine facilities, service and crew. Crystal ships are numbered 1 and 2 in the world’s “Top Mid-size Ships”. The ship’s atmosphere creates a sense of community between passengers and crew. All cabins have an outside view, and are boutique-hotel style with queen beds converting to two singles. Each cabin has a flat-screen television, DVD player (DVDs are free from the library) and fridge with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water. Suites come with butlers and course-by-course meals. Penthouse accommodations come with marble bathrooms and whirlpool baths with separate showers.
Launched in 1995 and having its third refurbishment in 2009, Crystal Symphony at 51,000 GT carries 940 passengers. Dining is a superb experience, with varied themed menus at the Restaurant, with its fixed dining times and assigned tablemates. For casual dining, Crystal Symphony's Lido is the ship-top buffet; Silk Road (Asian) and Valentino at Prego (Northern Italian) are the specialty dining venues. Outside meal times are pool-side buffets and afternoon tea in the ship’s Palm Court. Crystal Plaza is Crystal Symphony's central, two-story atrium, with its Crystal Cove lounge for people-watching. Then there’s the library and Internet centre. Cruises include many sea days, and these can be filled with rich entertainment and activities. Between the Galaxy Lounge (with each evening’s theatrical performance) and the Luxe nightclub, is the casino. For fitness there are games and walking programs, and two pools. The spa and beauty salon are two of the finest at sea. Guests are well-travelled, and primarily in the 50-plus range.
