Costa Europa
Costa Europa travels between Savona (Italy) and Dubai (UAE) on 18-night cruises, sailing for Costa until April 2010. Fascinating ports of call include historic Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman, ancient Muscat and Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman, Aden (Yemen) with its museums, the health springs of Safaga, tourist growth city of Sharm el-Sheikh on the Sinai Peninsula, modern Alexandria (Egypt), and Naples adjacent to Mt. Vesuvius.

Launched in 1988 and last refitted in 2002, Costa Europa measures 54,763 GT and carries 1,494 passengers. The vessel’s interior is somewhat different to her “Italian-style” fleetmates, yet reflects the style and atmosphere of continental Europe. Nine decks are named after Greek legendary figures. There are two good sized pools (one covered with a magrodome), fitness centre, plenty of open deck space and sunbeds, and multi-purpose sports court. Inside find a two-level theatre, cinema, ballroom with a hardwood dance floor, casino and disco. In addition to the main dining room are buffet restaurants, also bars and cafés.
