Carnival Paradise
Carnival Paradise offers 3- and 4-night cruises out of Los Angeles to Ensenada (Mexico), the longer cruise also stopping at Santa Catalina (USA). On shore activities in the mountainous peninsula of Baja Mexico include immersion into the culture and history of the region, and as always water related activities. The ship's staterooms have flat-screen TV, wall-installed, in-shower bath, and most feature twin beds, combined into an extremely comfortable king-size bed. Carnival's Comfort Bed is a 5-star hotel sleep system. Only top-priced cabins have a veranda. Triples and quads accommodate the needs of three or four people travelling together. Twenty cabins provide for physically challenged guests.

Carnival Paradise entered service in 1998. At 70,367 GT she carries 2,052 passengers. Refitting in 2008 has given her an ‘as-new’ look, sporting mini golf course on the sports deck, refurbished staterooms, new children’s facilities, remodelled restaurants, water parks with whirlpools and three pools, and an adults-only deck. Other features include internet access, library, and spa and fitness facilities. Carnival Paradise offers excellent Las Vegas-style entertainment, a selection of theme bars and lounges, and some of the largest standard cabins in the cruise industry. Dining service and food quality is excellent, both formal and informal. Past guests give top marks for the ship’s entertainment and its value-for-money. Despite the large number of passengers, there is no sense of being crowded onboard. This well-maintained vessel is ideal for families, veteran travellers, multigenerational groups, honeymooners and singles.
