Cruises from Paramushir
Paramushir is a volcanic island, one of a string of 57 forming the Kuril Islands that separate the Sea of Okhotsk and the North Pacific Ocean. The archipelago stretches from Japan northwards to the Kamchatka Peninsula, and all but the southern two are under Russian jurisdiction. Paramushir island is made up of a chain of 23 volcanoes, five of them active, the highest reaching 1816m.
