Cruises from Komandorsky Islands
The Komandorsky Islands, in the North Pacific, are located 175 km east of the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East. They are included into the Komandorsky State Natural Reserve, and one of the most preserved areas of the region. There are two large islands, Bering and Medny; and two small ones, Ariy Kamen and Toporkov. The relief is somewhat diverse, encompassing folded-block mountains, volcanic plateaus, terraced plains, and low mountains.
