Kaliningrad is a seaport in the Russian enclave Kaliningrad Oblast between Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic Sea. It is situated at the mouth of the Pregel River. The city was the Old Prussian city Königsberg from the 13th C; then part of Germany; and since 1945 came under Russian control and changed to its present name. Russian people settled after World War II and introduced another culture.
