Cruises from Inhaca Island
Inhaca Island is an island off the coast of the southern tip of Mozambique, an African country that has a 2500km coastline facing the island of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The island is small (12km by 7km) and encloses Maputo Bay. Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, is 30km to the west on the mainland. The island has cultivated fields, grassy plains, dune forests to the east, and extensive mud flats. There are coral reefs to the west (not in the best condition). Whale sharks, manta rays and humpback whales appear seasonally.
