Le Marin is a town in the Caribbean island of Martinique in the French Antilles. The town is closely settled around a bay on the far south of the island, and the shore is lined with a 600-berth marina, evidence of the Caribbean life-style. With around 9,000 inhabitants, Le Marin is the administrative capital of the south, and one of the three sub-prefectures of the island since 1974.
