Cruises from Yala National Park
Yala National Park is a 1000 sq.km. wildlife sanctuary located in SE Sri Lanka bordering on the Indian Ocean. Visiting ships berth at Hambantota and tourists reach the park entrance 50 kilometres to the NE by road. The park is divided into blocks, and Block I, the most popular, can be visited on a ring road returning via the coastal town of Yala to the port. The Yala National Park is the most visited park in Sri Lanka. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals.
