Cefalu is a port on the north coast of Sicily, built around thee ides of a rocky hill that dominates the landscape. Below to one side is a smart harbour with marina and beach. The scenery is quite idyllic, especially the clear blue waters and small vessels at peace, and as you’d expect it attracts millions of tourists annually. The population of 14,000 is quite overwhelmed in summer.
