Cruises from Pim Island
Pim Island (formerly Bedford Pim Island) lies to the east of Ellesmere Island (the northernmost island of Canada), part of the Qikiqtaaluk Region of the Canadian territory of Nunavut. The two islands are separated by the narrow Rice Strait. Pim Island lies 340 km north of the Arctic Circle, about as far north as explorer ships currently venture in this region. (However, it is still 1270 km from the Geographic North Pole.) Pim Island is about 13 km by 7.5 km.
