Cruises from Trevoux

Trévoux is a town in the Rhône-Alpes région in eastern France, located on the north bank of the Saône River, and 25 kms north of Lyon of which it is a suburb. It is a mediaeval town on the side of a hill and is looked over by its Château built sometime during the 13th century. The town grew in the Middle Ages and flourished thanks to its port and the taxes received from traders using the river. For 300 years, this town was the capital of the Principality until it was returned to France in 1762.
