Cruises from Esbjerg
Esbjerg (pronounced ess-be-air) is the second largest harbour in Denmark, situated on the west coast of the Jutland Peninsula. It faces the North Sea, on the same latitude as Newcastle in England. The port is busy with fishing, shipping and agricultural exports. Today traffic comes with the wind-turbine industry (3 Gigawatts), off-shore oil and gas services, and container ships. It is not essentially on the tourist path. The city centre can easily be explored on foot.
