Cruises from Santa Rosa National Park
Santa Rosa National Park is 36 kms north of Liberia in Guanacaste Province, in the northern western part of Costa Rica. Originally created to protect the scene of the Battle of Santa Rosa, at its eastern edge lies the Interamerican Highway. The location is an old farm, and now an original hacienda building, "La Casona," remains as a monument to the fallen heroes of the various victorious battles that took place here in 1856, 1919 and 1955 against invaders.
