Cruises from Guanghzou
Guangzhou (formerly Canton), 70 km from the port of Nansha, is the capital and a sub-provincial city of Guangdong Province in the southern part of the People's Republic of China. It is an inland port on the Pearl River, navigable to the South China Sea, and is located about 120 km NNW of Hong Kong. It was a major terminus of the Maritime Silk Road, and is today a major port, “China’s Southern Gateway”, “City of Flowers”, and one of China’s five principal cities. Guangzhou is the economic centre of the Pearl River Delta and at the heart of one of mainland China's leading commercial and manufacturing regions.
