Cruises from Imbituba
Imbituba is a port and coastal town in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. From 1796 to the middle of the twentieth century it was an important home of Brazilian whalers, but today the rebuilt whaling station is an historic site and museum that is a ‘must-see’. Thanks to a special project of protecting the local Southern Right Whales, this region has become a federal Environmental Protection Area, making whale watching very popular.
