Cruises from Sale River
Sale River is in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The headwaters of the river rise near Spong Pyramid at the southern edge of the Elizabeth and Catherine Range and flow in a westerly direction before discharging into Doubtful Bay. The only tributary to the Sale is the Berckelman River that drops around 147m over its 26.2km length.

Cruise ships anchor at the mouth of the river, and visitors take tenders 20km along the winding river course, till the spectacular rock gorge covered in boab trees and Livistonia palms is reached.
